Congrats on SAS² Certifications
SAS² International is delighted to announce that 5 more people have become SAS² Certified Instructors or Certified Practitioners. Ana Mireya Suazo, Juan Amilcar Colindres and Wilmer Reyes (all from the Universidad Nacional de Agricultura, Catacamas – Olancho, Honduras) are now SAS² Certified Instructors. For several years now they have been training dozens of students in SAS² through their courses in Ecology, Agronomy and Environmental Studies. They have also supervised some 22 completed theses employing SAS² techniques in contexts ranging from watershed management to the assessment of gender-based perspectives on new bean varieties. Professors Suazo, Colindres and Reyes join Laura Suazo and Raul Zelaya in the team of SAS² instructors based in Central America.
In Canada, Paul Turcot and Kate McLaren have become SAS² Certified Practitioners. They are using SAS² techniques in their consulting work on organizational development, particularly in the monitoring and evaluation context. This includes work with many volunteer organizations active in Canada and internationally.
