SAS2 Training Services

Certified SAS2 Instructors offer both introductory and advanced training in collaborative inquiry for organizations and project teams. It involves:
- Learning practical ways to assess and solve complex problems
- Using step-by-step processes to achieve expected results;
- Linking problems and processes with projects that are worth pursuing;
- Creating tangible products that address real needs.
The training revolves around the people involved: people who construct and negotiate project goals, who put in place the processes needed to meet these goals, who work together to resolveproblems as they unfold, and who create products that express real achievements and the learning that has occurred along the way.
Training can be tailored to the substantive interests and skills of participants. Workshops encourage participants to learn by applying the tools to their own content, and can lead to the development of a preliminary analysis or proposal on issues directly related to participant workplans.
In an Introductory Workshop, you can expect:
- 3 days of process-based learning with rigorous tools for group-based inquiry;
- A chance to work on issues and problems that matter to you;
- Guidance regarding how to select, sequence, and scale tools in a particular research project and context;
- Engaging and fun approaches to make collaborative inquiry easy to grasp, and even easier to use.
In an Advanced Workshop, you can expect:
- Two days of small group work grounded in your plans and projects;
- A chance to deepen your skills in designing or co-designing an inquiry or community-based research project using SAS2 tools.
