SAS2 Certified Instructors (Asia)
On behalf of SAS2 International, I am delighted to announce that Bikash Paudel (LIBIRD), Pitamber Shrestha (LIBIRD), Amitabha Sarkar (DRCSC) and Tapas Mondal (DRCSC) have successfully completed the requirements of certification as SAS2 Certified Instructors. Congratulations!
Certification as a SAS2 Instructor involves first and foremost a thorough demonstration of abilities to design and facilitate people- and evidence-based inquiry for problem solving, strategic planning and evaluation. Mr. Paudel, Mr Shrestha, Mr. Sarkar and Mr. Mondal have shown their SAS2 skills through numerous collaborative inquiries facilitated at the village and project levels. In addition, they completed several rounds of training-of-trainer workshops under the supervision of Rajeev Khedkar (ADS) and Daniel Buckles (Carleton University). Recently, they played a lead role in facilitating a SAS2 Introductory Workshop for the Green Foundation and its partners in Bangalore (India).
The understanding of approaches, skills and tools for collaborative inquiry and social engagement demonstrated by these individuals, and their leadership in sharing this understanding with others, is a great asset to the SAS2 Community of Practice.
